Interesting. Rose Gold is hot and that too the plus size. Looks like men are ordering it too. The 'girlish look' fear factor is not holding men back!

Yeah I think the "hot new colour" factor is probably outweighing the "girlish" factor. However, it is worth noting that Apple is probably not producing the same amount of Silver/Grey/Gold/Rose phones. So it is a combinations of Supply & Demand here.

Yeah the 6 Plus sold out INSTANTLY last year due to a gross underestimation of demand on Apple's part, all indications is they upped their orders for the 6s Plus this year around.

I would guess the former. This was a pretty big "S" change versus prior years. It's not like the 5S where here's a new processor, dual flash, and slightly better same 8mp camera and that's all. It's biggest new feature was Touch ID.

This was a pretty big S upgrade in terms of hardware honestly- 3D touch screen, processor, 12mp camera, more RAM (allegedly) LTE Advanced, faster Wifi w/MIMO.

im still surprised 95% of the models, except Rose Gold really which they probably just had fewer of, are still 9/25 dates at 10:30am EST.

I think women like the plus size ... most of us don't carry them around in our pockets. We have purses! ;)
 
All reports point to increase supplier orders, I think they beefed up the 6s Plus supply versus last years launch of the 6 Plus.
 
Looks like 6s plus is more loved than normal 6s, or they just have more 6s stock

I think they have more 6s stock, which is what they did last year. Only this year the ratio of 6s to 6s Plus seems a little more even.
