Worried about static electricity

Hi,

I'm dealing with static electricity at my work. This happens when I stand up from my chair and touch something. The solution would be to put something on my chair, but I don't know if i'm allowed to.

Is this harmful for the aluminium watch series 4? Since I don't want to harm my device..

Static electricity shouldn’t be a problem with the watch, it’s large enough to discharge quite a bit without having a problem. In any case, a large build up wouldn’t contain a Katy amount of electrical power, so it wouldn’t be very bad for the device
