I use a Samsung wireless charger with my iPhone as well with no problems. Mercifully, Apple went with a common Qi standard for a change.

I tested charging my iphone 8 maybe 10 minutes with Samsungs wireless fast charger yesterday. Now I am worried that maybe it has done something with my battery?

You have nothing to worry about. Many are using this charger and it will not harm your phone what so ever. You battery will not last less time

Try to relax and enjoy the technology that Apple has made for us.

Wireless charging uses an accepted standard. That means all the chargers work the same way. It doesn't matter what brand they are as long as they meet the standard. It has not "done something" to your phone/battery.

You have nothing to worry about. If it had been a slinky third-party charger that wasn't certified etc. things might be different.

"Don't Panic."

You have nothing to worry about. I got the Samsung stand-up charger for Christmas and have been using it every night to charge my iPhone 8 Plus. Over 2 months later, my battery capacity is still at 100 percent.

Looks like OP deleted his original question.
That is odd. His other thread on this same question is gone as well.

I have never seen a newbie be able to do that before. I was under the impression that only Contributors could delete their own post.
