worth it just for online albums?

I only have a macbook pro... well tomorrow or Tuesday I will. I'm just curious if its worth it to get mobile me when all I really want it for is online albums and a "cheaper" way of proofing photos for my small photography business. All other forms of proofing cost upwards to $200, and for mobile me it only costs so much when you get it on Ebay. I am hoping to get an I phone this fall when my contract ends, however I would like this photo thing now.
Also, you can make it so there is no way people can just "right" click the photos to copy them correct?

IMHO, even for a small photography business, MobileMe is worth it just for its online gallery. Answering your last question, yes, visitors can right-click any photo to copy/save it. The only option you have is password-protect an album or hide it completely.

Depends on what you want to do with those albums. I got MobileMe for two reasons: 1 - integration with all the software on my iMac at home. 2 - online photo albums ( yes, I know there are free sites out there).
I have now discovered that the online albums don't show correctly after the first viewing. My clever little titles on the photo's get all out of order. My son called me and asked me if I had lost my mind :D. I basically can't use the albums the way they are now. I hope apple fixes this soon. Anyway just be aware. If the sequence the photo's are in matters, you might want to check if they are still OK.

You can keep people from right-click/saving pics.

"Also, you can make it so there is no way people can just "right" click the photos to copy them correct?"

I just posted some pics to mobileMe from iphoto and was presented with a check box under "Allow: Downloading photos or entire album".

I tried it both ways and with the check box unchecked, I wasn't able to download the pics. I hope that helps.

EDIT: OK, my mistake. I wasn't able to download it, but right-clicking still worked. Sorry. Have you thought of a watermark in the sample galleries so people cant steal your work?

Online photo albums are one of they reasons I have mobileme. I find it really convenient to easily upload a picture from my iPhone to it, or, publish them in iPhoto.

Second to that, syncing bookmarks.. I don't even use iDisk as it's way to slow.
