Hi all,
I just got this Thunderbolt Display in the mail and it looks like a USPS driver threw the box against a wall. Overall the display appears to be fine, but the bottom right corner is dented badly and there is a tiny scratch on the display that is sort of annoying. If USPS doesn’t come through with the money I’m going to ask the seller for 50% back at which point the monitor will have been $190 instead of $380 shipped. What do you think? Is this damage likely to cause ensuing issues or shorten the display’s life? I’d rather keep it and get half my money back if possible as I am sick and tired of shipping **** back (this is the second one in a row that arrived damaged.) Also, the scratch on the LCD I mentioned is above the blinds in the reflection.
