I currently have MBP pro 2.2ghz 120gb 2g of ram I have an offer where I can buy the new macbook 2.0ghz one
Is it really an upgrade considering graphics card is different and its smaller
I dont care about the display
I wont notice any difference right in performance I believe

if portability is a feature for you, it is newer, better built, probably faster, a better machine.

upgrade if you really need the portability and like the unibody design, otherwise I think you are sacrificing quite a bit in buying the macbook.

they're comparable. i guess if it were me it would depend on how much i could get for my current machine.

i would buy a macbook if i could get $1200 for the mbp.

it's not really an upgrade, but it IS a brand new machine.
