Would 13" rMBP UI Lag be Noticeable?

So, I'm planning on buying the base model 2015 13" rMBP and I've found many threads about the UI Lag that comes with Yosemite for the 13" rMBP, I was wondering that if I reduced transparency, would you still notice the lag to the point that I should return it? Or would the better option be to just buy a maxed out MBA?

There is no lag for most people, just buy the machine you want and IF there's anything wrong with it, seek help (or wait a month for El Capitan).
