MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Mine can still handle 4K editing (Just) and all other tasks like photoshop etc. I'm not sure which to upgrade to, definitely need 4K Editing (it's my Job). Unless I would see significant improvement I may as well run mine into the ground Thoughts and suggestions welcome as I really am in two minds.

Uhm. Yes. Demonstrably so.

If you have the money, I'd say do it. I went from a 2017 15" i7 to a 2019 i9, and I don't do any video editing and I noticed a huge difference.
