I'm considering purchasing a mid 2014 Retina MacBook Pro (A1398) (EMC 2881) next week and I want to know If I can use and eGPU with the system. I want to take the NVidia GTX 1080 and NZXT Power Supply out of my failing desktop and turn it into an eGPU to use with the MacBook. I plan on using boot camp to install windows 10 for gaming along side Big Sur. Would this be a good idea or am I creating a headache for myself? I will be using this setup with an Old 42'' Vizio TV.
