Why do so many people care what strangers think of your phone? Will I look cheap if I get a 5c? Is the gold 5s girly? Geez just get what you want regardless of what other people think.

I actually think that this might be a valid concern in a business or office environment. People want to look professional.

Fortunately, the white 5C looks fairly professional to me. It's not flashy or toy-like.

You would look like an unsophisticated user that doesn't care about processor speed.

Lol, this reminds me of the troll user from MR a few years ago when the first 64GB LTE iPads came out. He would troll all of the iPad threads with how he was superior to all other iPad users because he had the most expensive iPad.

If you are happy with your purchase who gives a fark which phone you have. It honestly isn't that big of a deal what phone you have these days, now that smartphones are so common.

Go easy on the OP. School is a really tough place these days, what with cyber bullying and all that crap.... If he is concerned enough to have posted, then it matters to him.

Everything to do with fashion and accessories is to do with looks and appearances, how you want to be seen. Apple is known to carry an image. But look at everything... I see tons of people in entry level $40k BMWs that don't even have features you get on the Focus or Forte, all in the name of image and brand.

Anyways, OP.... If you're worried, why not save a pile of cash and get the 5? You'll look like you went for the top model and are just mid-contract. Solves all your problems. And if your contract is being renewed, you can always get a 5C or otherwise on contract and sell it to pay for a 5.

5C doesn't make you look cheap, but if anything, perhaps a little uninformed, as there are smarter ways of getting that same tech. ;)
