I'm going to get my base 21.5" iMac soon (hopefully), and I really wanted to know if it would be an upgrade from my current PC.

    iMac Specs:

    Intel Core2 Duo 3.06GHz
    4GB DDR3
    500GB
    nVidia 9400m
    Snow Leopard
    21.5" LED

Aside from RAM and HD, its probably about the same. The PC has a better graphics card. If you want to run OSX, however, the iMac would be the better choice.

well spec wise the mac is better, snow leopard runs in my opinon alot better than windows, the only thing u have not listed is the size of your current monitor, if 21.5 is big enough then that's fine, another thing you need to look into is the software you want to run, anything windows only bassed you could use in boot camp..
