I have a R9 280x in my mac and I would really like to flash it with the Netkas rom to get the boot screen to work. I don't have access to a PC that I can use to flash the boot efi on it so I ultimately just think it would be simpler if I could pay for someone to do this for me. I know about macvideocards, I want to see if this will work first since I already have the card.

Based in Denver Colorado, but willing to ship anywhere in the US if someone is interested. PM me if you are interested. I'll cover both ends of shipping.

PM sent.

Happy to do this free of charge if you cover the shipping both ways.

First it would be a good idea to go to your " .sig ( signature ) file and tell us everything about your video card + your Mac Pro + which OS X version.

There is a way to flash the card in Linux so there should be a way to flash it in osx with Brew or compile it straight from the git repository. I will dig it when I return back home .If it is successful I may create a post .
[doublepost=1548650995][/doublepost]Ethos has integrated package for flashing the video ROM . The cheapest way to get it is ona USB drive:

Atiflash is preinstalled there:

Mac Linux USB loader is a utility for installing Linux on a USB in EFI mode with persistence for 5$. Once Ubuntu is installed and booted you can install atiflash with:
apt-get install atiflash

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. The $5 USB loader for Ubuntu looks great. I'll probably buy one for the future. For now, I think I'm still going to send it out to someone who reached out to me on the forum.
