Would resetting help my ipad 3 with ios 7?

Hey,

my ipad 3 got awfully slow and sluggish due to ios 7. It's no fun to use anymore really. I just updated, but do you think it would make sense to restore and try a clean install? If I then load the backup, wouldnt everything be as slow as right now again anyway? 🙁

I guess it won't do any harm to try a "Setup as new" but reports of the 3 being sluggish and underpowered in IOS7. It's worth a try though.
