Would SolidWorks Premium work on my MPB 15inch?

I'm looking to getting into CADD(Computer asisted drafting and design) out of high school. I bought the new MBP 15inch. I was wondering if SolidWorks Premium would run smoothly if I were to Bootcamp with vista 64bit? Or is my Macbook pro renderd usless now and I have to go buy a new 7-10 thousand dollar PC

I run AutoCad on my low end Macbook Pro unibody (doing 3d work). Your specs are as good as any PC laptop you can buy, so I don't understand why you think it wouldn't work?
