Would the 17" MBP have enough room for a 2nd HDD?

Just curious to know. Since it is basically a 15" with a bigger screen, there should be some spare expansion room for more components. Sure slightly more heat and battery drain, but 320 gb storage in a laptop...drool.

It's on the top of my wishlist along with 512 VRAM for next update.

Doubt it. Everything seems so crammed up in most of their computers already, so I say no...

You might be able to rig something- you'd definitely have to remove the optical drive though. You'd also have to find some way of powering the drive, which would be a major pain in the @$$.
