Would this cut it?

I am looking to replace one of my machines that I use mainly for torrents and basic internet type tasks with a mac.....does anyone think that something like an old g3/g4 would cut it for these simple type things?

I wouldnt see why not right?

A miniG4 1.25 is what I use for that sort of stuff. Works great.

Any G4 with a speed >500MHz would work great for this, expecially if it is wired to the network. Craigslist often has 500-733MHz PowerMac G4s for between $150-$250.

Check ebay as well. I've seen some good priced ones on there, but theres always shipping which really stinks.
