So i am stopping time machine, i've ran into too many problems, so i'm going to get another application. But that's not what this is about, I wanna know how i can delete all the back ups time machine made in my external HD, I dragged it to the trash but i'm scared if i delete this then my computer will expload...my question is how do i get rid of old time machine back ups

Yes, there's a small amount of plastic explosive built into every Mac computer and it's triggered by emptying the Trash. I recommend you use your Apple Remote and stand far away, preferably behind a steel wall, before deleting the trash.

Better to be safe than sorry. Just make sure you empty the trash on your external hard drive without any USB / Firewire leads connected to your Mac.

Also turn off all wireless connections - just in case.
