I'm returning to the PC scene after my Xbox got a RRoD. I don't care if it's running at full specs, but at least to the point that it has a nice FPS going, and nice graphics.

My PC specs are the following:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, clocked @ 2.40GHz
4 GBs of RAM
This is my mainboard: http://cl.ly/7frV

So basically, will I be able to support the graphics card? If so, can I run Crysis 2 on decent settings? I mean, the price is pretty damn good.

If you have an extra 6pin connector on your power supply, then I would look for an Ati 6850 or 6870 or an nVidia 560Ti for a little more. These appear to be the best value-for-money ATM if you don't require top shelf performance.

That card would barely run Crysis at low settings.

Ah, thanks for the reply. I'll look into those.

Edit: Bah, those are a little expensive. I'm looking for something under $130. Any recommendations?

It would depend on the resolution you are running. You can get playable frame rates on a 6770 at mid-low settings at less than 1920x1080. Just make sure that your PC has the power and space to support the card you want.
