My battery life on my 6S plus is horrible I have to charge my phone 3 times a day. I'm fully aware i'm using beta software and that may how it's going to be. I really don't want to clean install but I'm wondering if I do a full encrypted backup in itunes wipe my phone and then restore from backup could it make any difference whatsoever?

Im wondering if this would clean out the cruft so to speak.

It probably can't hurt. Although restoring as new without putting on a backup is probably an even better way to go about it all.
