Carrier Would tmobile unlocked iPhone 6s work in India?

Hi I bought the iphone 6s tmobile from Apple for full price and it's unlocked.

It's model number a1688.

Would this phone work in India specifically with airtel 4g?

Yes on Airtel. Dont know about 4G as it wasnt active in Mumbai last time I was there. But no issues at all with Airtel connection.
