Same 3.5" display and same design as iPhone 4 with the only changes being:
Apple A5 processor
8MP rear-facing camera
1.3/2MP front-facing camera
32GB and 64GB
iOS 5

Can I make an edit to your rumor?

3.7 inch retina display
A5 1.5Ghz Dual-Core
1GB-1.5GB ram :D
Up to 128GB storage
3G/4G H+/4G LTE/5G? ;)
Bigger battery

Not even close.

It's a good thing I have two phone lines.

After enjoying the 4.3" 16:9 aspect ratio display of my various Androids, which is perfect for Movies, You Tube and Videos, I am wishing that Apple would go to 4.3" as well.

I really like my current iPhone 4 with just two exceptions. Antenna is poor and the tiny 3.5" odd sized display.

I REALLY want Apple to get with the times and give us a 16:9 widescreen display. If you do the math that equates to 4.3" and is the precise reason it's so common on top of the line Android smartphones.

My rumor? I have no rumor. Simply asking what would people think if Apple does what's most likely to happen.

I'd buy the 64GB version. :).

Though I really don't think that it's going to be that, I did think it would be up until a couple months into the year though.

I'd be sad that the rumors of the bigger screen weren't true and that the design wasn't even slightly different but I'd be over the moon about owning one, especially the new one :).

I just need to upgrade from my phone before it completely stops working on me. Since I am not upgrading from an iPhone 4, I'd still take your setup. Would I prefer a case change/screen size increase too? Quite possibly if I liked the changed design.

No reason to have more then 512MB of RAM. For IBM's sake the iPT4 and iPad original still came with 256MB. 1GB is fairly overkill with smartphones for the time being. Maybe next year when mobile gaming starts matching and surpassing console levels.

No OP, i wouldn't be happy.

But this my ideal iPhone 5:

1) 3.7" to 4" Retina display
2) Dual core A5 processor
3) 1GB of RAM
4) 8MP camera
5) 2MP front camera
6) Bigger battery life
7) 16GB or 32GB of Storage
8) LED notification
9) iOS 5
10) Improved antenna
11) Brand new case design, Rounded edge back, similar to 1st generation iPhone
12) Liquid Metal back
13) 3G

hmmm, what else did i miss?

If you do the math that equates to 4.3" and is the precise reason it's so common on top of the line Android smartphones.

What kind of math makes a 4.3" diagonal and a 16:9 ratio related in any way at all?
Any size diagonal can be practically any ratio.
3.75" x 2.125" gives you a 4.3" diagonal and a 16:9 ratio.
But 3.5625" x 2.375" also gives your a 4.3" diagonal but with a 3:2 ratio.

I would be happy. I like the screen size just fine. I would like a faster processor, and a higher resolution. I had the Droid X, and never noticed an advantage with a bigger screen...just MUCH worse battery life.

i won't be satisfied until it can conquer my enemies, and hear the laments of their women and children.

On the camera, you don't specify if there's a better camera lens as rumors have indicated. Also, considering memory prices for a 64GB chip is still too expensive, the 64 GB isn't going to happen.
Unless you have inside info, this poll is pointless.

No I would not be happy at all actually. I want a 4-inch screen, dual core A5 processor, and 8MP camera at the least. Anything else would be a plus, but those are the 3 things I really desire in the iPhone 5, and that the iPhone 5 really needs to stay modern and in the game.

I think those 3 things will for sure be on it

otherwise apple wouldn't get enough people to upgrade.

so it's a lock that those are on IMO

Same 3.5" display and same design as iPhone 4 with the only changes being:
Apple A5 processor
768MB of RAM
8MP rear-facing camera
1.3/2MP front-facing camera

Hopefully Apple will release more than the features mentioned. Stands to reason this new IPHONE5 will be out there for at least a year, so it would make sense to put enough new features in it to at least keep it equal or better than the competition.

Bigger screen would be a big plus. I really don't think Anyone would complain.

no.

Apple (hopefully) realise that they are creating much more anticipation by increasing the release gap between the iPhone 4 and 5.
