Would you buy 4.7 or 5.7 ip6?

If the ip6 is phablet sized I'm not touching that generation. Half the reason I switched back was I was sick of premium smartphones getting bigger and bigger.
Yea, I would do something closer to the 6 inch. I don't mind the IP5s, Love it, but more screen would be cool with me.

4.7!!!!!! I really like the 4inch display and apple better keep it. Love how I can use it with one hand. So as of right now I want a 4 inch display. But if apple as a 4 inch and a 4.7 inch then maybe I would like the 4.7 inch if I could hold it in one hand i need to see it. If apple want to keep everyone happy then this is what they should and better do!

There are numerous identical threads already active on this topic, however...
4.7 is the largest I would change too, the 5c range will no doubt continue the current size format, at least for a further year after the 6 is launched just with 5s spec no doubt. The one thing I would want is better battery life, especially from the larger phone if it were produced as it's already an issue for the majority of users.

I think it all depends if both have same specs. If they are like the iPad air and iPad mini where only difference is screen size then I would go with the 4.7 but if they "gimp" the smaller version, I would go with the more high end version, even though I would rather have the little bit smaller (albeit larger than current model)

Agree. Rather than the race to paper thin, how about making it a mm or two thicker and stick a huge battery in there. There is no excuse anymore from apple, because various android OEM's are making phones with huge batteries that are 8mm thick. People would not complain if there was a large battery in it.

Well the 4 inch iPhone would be the 5s which the new iPhones would be expected to have better specs than that since that would be a year old at the time. But i agree the other two need to have the same specs unless they want another repeat of the 5C where pretty much nobody is buying it.

i'd go for the smaller one. i like having a phone that fits in my pocket and where i can text with the same hand i use to hold the phone.
I really like the current 4" size, but wouldn't be opposed to 4.5-4.7" as long as the device size didn't increase dramatically.

That would be rad. If the 6s and 6c (for example) are like the iPad in that their specs are the exact same but one is smaller, I'm totally happy. I'd get my 6c and love it.
I'd pick up the 5.7 in a heart beat, as long as they dont just increase the size(I'm talking to you HTC), take full use of the bigger screen, some type of software value for having the 5.7 screen
4.7in? Yep. A 5.7in? Idk. I love bigger screen phones but idk if I want my phone to be that big. The biggest I'd probably go is 5in. I'm just hoping the iPhone 6 has a bigger display. Make it happen, Apple.
4.7 is fine. I could deal with that. Although it's slightly larger than my ideal size of 4.3-4.5". 5.7" is obnoxiously big and I would never use a phone that large.
As I've said before, apple won't go too big as it would harm the iPad mini line...

As long as the battery is improved, by a noticeable amount and I can use it with just one hand I'll be happy.

To be honest, I'd rather take 4 or 4.3. This is coming from a person who had 4.8 Galaxy S3 and thought it was too big and bulky. I'm also 6' 2'' and have pretty big hands. If I need a big screen to watch a YouTube videos or a movie I use my iPad. Plain and simple.
None. It's stupid to have a bigger phone. Might as well have a 32" iPhone since people will eventually want that too.
