Now that the Beats purchase has been stated in the media and since I am in the market for new Bluetooth headphones.
First lets assume Apple will make the bass toned down and bring the eq to normal levels.
I was wondering if Apple would ditch the MicroUSB in favor of lightning when Apple does get to design the next Beats BT headphone. If lightning offered no other gains other than charging time, I think I'd get them. Given price of course.

Lightning to me is the 2nd greatest experience using a cable I have ever known. 1st being Magsafe.

Other Ideas are:
Change firmware settings for more bass, if that is your desire
iPod like controls on the ear cup, Maybe not a great idea but it could work
Better quality!!! Beats quality is fair to good, Apple is among the best. Apple will have to up Beat's game.

I probably wouldn't. I've had the beats studio wireless headset. It was uncomfortable for me to wear after long periods of time. The sound wasn't bad but the comfort was just a deal breaker
