I would totally buy one, but I don't think it's realistic because it's impossible to create anodized white aluminum. There are other ways to achieve a white-ish color but I don't expect Apple to. It's really too bad because a nice white computer that will not discolor over time would be incredible. Have always loved white but it never ages well in plastics.

Why is it impossible?

Yes! It breaks my heart that I didn't jump on the Apple train until that white model was discontinued.
I was first introduced to Apple in summer 2008. It was at my old internship, where they used that very old Mac Pro with a cheap monitor. I enjoyed Apple so much, that I ended up buying an iMac but wanted a laptop, too. So when I went into the store in early 2010 and looked for that beautiful white MacBook I saw the silver aluminum with black keys as we know of today, and I was heartbroken. The employees told me "oh, they don't make that white one anymore" I was devasted.

Nope. I remember when I had the white version of the regular MacBook, it would crack on the sides and bottom. Don't want to go through that again.

So basically they'd have to paint it if we wanted a pure white color on aluminum. Or powder coat. That'd probably get expensive.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I had a blue car once, but it got a flat tire. I torched it, and I haven't touched another blue car since.
Ok so no need to be sarcastic. Those specific ones would crack on the bottom and the sides it was made entirely out of plastic look it up.
