Just saw this video. A makeer called Blackview, where theres a built in projector in the phone. So, I was wondering if Apple did this and improved on it by making it brighter you could have a portable TV on the go, also do presentations with it hooked up to your mackbook. Thoughts?

Hasn't this been done already on some other (Android) smartphones in the last number of years, and I believe there were even a few as far back as about 10 years ago?

After looking, you're correct. But the phones where terrible and limited in what they could do at the time, vs what they are capable of now.

No. This thing screams gimmick, does not seem useful in every day life. Just seems like it would do nothing but drain the battery.

Motorola had this smart phone ‘Projector’ attachment option Years back and it failed, miserably. I have to say, it does bring a different experience to the smart phone, but does the consumer find this useful? Maybe for a small demographic, but other technology seems more intriguing like Face ID, True Depth camera, etc.

Naw. As others have said. It's a gimmick that only a tiny percentage of users would want. Not something I can see apple doing, at least not with current projector technology.
