Glad, amazed by my iPhone 5. So no, won't be happening for me. I always skip the S (3GS, 4S, 5S...). Still looking firward for iOs 7, my fingers have never been crossed so tightly together :(

Not going to get sucked in to the whole "S" deal the way I did with the 4. I have the 5 and will wait until the 6 comes out...A fingerprint scanner and better camera are not going to persuade me to part with $$$. I don't really use my iphone as a camera anyway...I have dedicated devices for that purpose..

iPhone 5S

Faster processor
Better camera (13 Megapixels? with new flash)
Fingerprint scanner
Lighter
Thinner
iOS 6
New colors

----

If you have time please post why or why not.

Faster CPU.... Yes

Better camera. Better sensor yes, but no need for 13 MP

Fingerprint reader. Maybe

Lighter. Absolutely no. I like the 4S sold feel, not the iPhone 5 light weight

Thinner. Absolutely no. Again, I like a good solid feel with the weight of the iPhone 4S and have a better battery

I have the iPhone 4 right now so yes. Then I figure I'll stick with the "S" cycle; basically the same phone but with the kinks worked out thanks to the last year's beta testers. ;)

I voted yes, just because if I were in the market for a new phone I would. No, just because I have the iPhone 5 and its great.

Nope, I'd stick with my 4S.

TBH at this point I'm more interested in software updates than hardware ones, and those have been pretty underwhelming of late. I'll probably be using the 4S until it breaks, and that'll probably be a while since my original iPhone is still going strong (albeit slowly).

I voted no because I just got the i5 and will upgrade when my contract allows me to in 2014. I will see what's available and make a decision at that point.

Regarding thinner and lighter? I just can't see how or why they would do that. It's already light as a feather and about as thin as you could get without it snapping in half fairly easily.

I would rather them keep a similar design (at least thickness and weight) and improve the battery or just put a bigger on in the phone, which would obviously increase the weight. But only a few grams wouldn't affect much. Like I said, the i5 is already incredibly light. A little heavier with increased battery life would but perfect.

Honestly though, I'm really hoping that the next version of the iPhone (iPhone 6, not i5s) has a larger screen. Not 5 inches huge, but 4.5-4.8 and I will buy it when I'm able, contract wise.

But, there's no need for 2GB of RAM; there's nothing the iPhone can't do that would require 2GB. (The only reason the Samsung GS3 and other Androids have 2GB is because Android is so laggy)

Phones don't NEED Dual Cores, quad core graphics, LTE etc. It's called advancement in hardware. As time goes on and software gets more advanced specs get better. And in order for apps to get significantly better then need ample hardware. Better specs are also a selling point. Why doesn't the iPhone still have 256mb then? The bolded is also false.

No, the bolded isn't false. The 2GB is needed to power TouchWiz. Not only that, there's no major benefit that you can't have with 1GB. Not only that, the iPhone 5 has 1GB of RAM, the iPhone 4S has 512, so your claim is false.

Android *IS* laggy, and the S3 has lag. In the time I got to use a Galaxy S3 (Around a Month & half), it wasn't unbearable lag, but when compared to the fluidness of the iPhone or even Samsung's own Windows Phones (which I do somewhat like), it had very noticeable lag launching programs, even just swiping pages of apps. It's not as bad as I had on my Nexus 7 at times, but still not perfect. Better specs are a selling point, but that in no way at all means a phone is better or even sells. The Sega Saturn was more powerful than the PS1 and the Nintendo 64, but it had horrible sales figures. The iPhone 5 is not as powerful as its competitors, yet it still comes out as the #1 sold phone. Don't associate powerful specs with sells and quality.

Touch wiz =/= android. Which is one of the, if not the most bloated skin out there. And it's not lack of ram causing the lag. Check your ram usage to verify that. I never said better specs mean better sales or an inherently better phone so don't put words in my mouth. Android itself doesn't need anywhere close to 2gb. Some apps, multitasking and web browsing however, can make use of it. Especially the latter two. It's the skins that are bloated. Not android. And my claim is not false as I was referring to the 3GS. If there was no need for more ram why doesn't the iPhone just stay where it was in 2009? People were saying the same thing back then too. It's because hardware and software advances.

Im not sure i can handle an even lighter in weight phone. I want to feel like Im actually holding something and the current IP5 is light enough.

At this point I am far more interested with iOS 7 to see what Apple does with it. I'm excited to see what elements in iOS 7 are influenced by Johnny Ive. If not then I'll just have to wait for iOS 8.
