So I just bought my first ever battery case for my 2 year old X. Mophie Juice Pack Air. Not bad. USB micro instead of lightning. Oh well. And I know Apple has their own case. Mophie was on sale for $24. But I have to charge wireless or take the case off.

Got me thinking. Would you buy an iPhone for $50 or $100 more that was thicker (maybe a soft matte like a built on/in case) that had a bigger battery.

Can't we just have a thicker longer lasting iPhone that cost more and has a 2x battery???

That’s almost what Apple have done with the iPhone 11 Pros. I’m more than happy to have a slightly thicker and heavier phone if it gives better battery. I love my iPhone 11 Pro Max

Certainly - yes. Who cares about thinness if your phone can't last a full day? Not having to charge your device in the evening after an entire day of use is the best feeling

No, I like the fact phones are thinner than ever and I don't mind charging it every couple of days if it means a smaller phone / battery.

Whilst I liked the iPhone 4 thickness, the iPhone 11 is just great and doesn't feel bulky.

I want to be able to put it in my pocket and not be weighed down like old wallets stuff with cards/cash and paper receipts.

Xiaomi”s recently released mi note 10 is only around 1mm thicker than 11 pro max and crams a 5300mah battery in there. Honestly, they needn’t be hugely thicker to accommodate significant battery increases.
