Two days with the HTC Inspire and I love it... it's super fast in the Internet and love the big screen.

Where I work, there are some iPhones and a lot of Android units. Looked at my coworkers Android, really slick looking. A lot of pizzazz.

Problem is, most of my coworkers have to put their Androids on charge by about 3:00-4:00.

Meanwhile, the iPhones just keep rolling along. I think I'll stick to iOS for the time being.

absolutely not my friend has an android that is always having problems and takes 10 minutes to turn on so no

I'm using a HTC Inspire 4G until the iPhone 5 comes out. I sold my iphone 4 and bought the inspire and ipod touch with money left over. I do like the large screen and 4G but miss the GV seamlessness and media controls (headphones and dock). Battery life is almost comparable.

Yes I would, and I have, several times. Since the original iPhone came out, I've had every model (with some Moto RAZR use in between when I sold the current phone to get money for the new one). That being said, after 4 years of basically the same OS, I got bored and wanted to switch. I actually tried out the Evo 4g for a couple of weeks when it first came out. It was awesome but I didn't love it enough to switch, so I got the iP4. Then around November, I switched to a Samsung Vibrant, then a Captivate, which I had until around this past January. At that point I got tired of Android and went back to my step-dad's iP3G (so sloooooooowwwwww). I used that until March when I made a few deals to get back to an iPhone 4. Then, this summer, I switched to a Moto Atrix 4G. I liked it a lot. The qHD 4" display was great, and Android 2.3.4 was pretty great. However, even with the great software and hardware, it still wasn't quite on par with iOS and Apple's hardware, so I switched back again about a month ago. I'm happy with my iP4 now and don't really see Android or their hardware manufacturers releasing anything amazing enough to get me to switch back, especially with the rumored features of the iP5 (4" display #yesplease!, faster processor, updates OS, etc.)

I made the switch this month when Best Buy was giving away the free Atrix. I have to say, I like it. Widget's aren't as useful as I thought they would be, but it's nice the way the home screen works. I gave my wife my iPhone4 and she is super happy with it. We upgraded since my wife wanted a smart phone, but it's way too late in the cycle to cash out for an iPhone 4, so I decided to give Android a try and it's pretty good. I love the 4 inch screen. It's the perfect size for me.

The only Android phone that I would use at this point is the Thunderbolt, and it's a very distant second to my iPhone. So if the iPhone never existed, that would probably be the phone I'd be using at this point. Otherwise, I will not switch to Android anytime soon.

If you really do an impartial comparison between iOS and Android, Android blows away iOS.

One thing I noticed with other platforms is you need to reboot your phone often. Sometimes at least once or twice per day to clear up any memory leaks. Even my old Symbian crashed once in awhile where I needed to do a battery pull which was a PITA to take off. There is an app for BlackBerry called QuickPull and one for webOS called Reboot Scheduler (in Preware) that makes me have to schedule a reboot at least once per day. Useful apps. I schedule it to happen around 6AM when I am still sleeping.

Now with the first iPhone, it froze or crashed alot on me. Probably had to do with Winterboard. Great, durable design, but the 128MB of RAM and the entire specs sheets is dated. With the iPhone 4, I can leave it on for days and it rarely crashes. Perhaps every 2-3 months. I do turn it off sometimes per week and close apps alot during the day. Again, my fav phones always gravitates more to reliability and stability. Apple's iOS is arguably the most stable. I love webOS, but even it has a two min bootup time. I am reluctant to go to Android just for its volatile nature.
