A box is pretty cheap, actually. You can get one for about $30 that I understand works reasonably well. At some point I am definitely going to replace the receiver. It will solve a number of problems, but for a couple of reasons not worth going into (other than the financial part) it doesn't really make sense for me to do it just yet.
