Just curious. I'm trying to read my iPad in bed and I have three bright windows behind me reflecting right on the thing.

Absolutely! As always, I'll be looking for the most matte-like screen skin I can find. Whoever designs the screens for these things must live in a world of total darkness.

Are you kidding? I'd do anything for a matte display. Anything to get rid of all of the reflections. It's not fun trying to use an iPad outside. 🙁

Same old argument as on the MBP thread about matte v. glossy... That is the #1 thing to talk about over there....

For my MBP I chose glossy and have never regretted the decision. The matte always seemed less sharp and gausey to me. I would feel the same about the iPad screen at the point I buy one I am sure.

The difference is that I always look at my glossy iMac/MBP screens head-on in "controlled" lighting conditions whereas I usually use my iPad where it is not head-on & in various lighting conditions so it seems to catch reflections a lot more.

Dang. I voted yes when i meant to vote no. You can change a glossy screen to matte with a cover, you can't go the other way.

Powersupport works well...but..

It took them 7 months to finally replace my damaged on arrival ag screen protector. I'm torn as to whether I'd order from them again. Good product, ultimately support stepped up..but it took a very very long time and they are, IMO, very expensive (as are others) for a piece of matte film. It would cost them next to nothing to include a second one.
