If Apple had offered iPhone 12 Mini Pro for $899 with the same cameras as iPhone 12 Pro, would you have ordered that instead of whatever you are getting this year?
Let's assume it would be slightly heavier than iPhone 12 Mini(133g). iPhone 12 weighs 162g and iPhone 12 Pro weighs 189g so being "Pro" added 27g. Therefore, iPhone 12 Mini Pro would weigh about 160g. I would prefer it to be lighter but I would be definitely interested in better cameras with LIDAR sensor. And the starting storage would be at 128gb instead of 64gb of regular 12 Mini.

After using big phones for some years I realized portability is the most important for me in a phone. I want to go for a walk with a small light weight phone in my pocket. I really like the current 2 camera setup(the way it looks) in iPhone 12 mini and their functions are sufficient for me. But If iPhone 12 Pro mini the one you mentioned was offered I had no choice but to buy it because of it's small size. Currently small, fast, light weight, OLED screen & portability are my requirements which current iPhone 12 mini is fulfilling.

No, but if they offered a 12 Pro 5.8” - 6.1” with an LCD display instead of OLED I’d be all over it.

Nope. For me, that screen is too small. As it is, I'm downsizing from a few Plus/Max models to a 12 Pro this year. Kind of like Goldilocks. The Max is too big, the Mini is too small. The 6.1' Pro is juuuuust right!

Yes, but no big deal. I will be getting a 12 Mini and would have liked the telephoto lens, plus I'll be going for 128 or 256, so I'm paying for that cost anyway. But, I prefer the aluminum body and corresponding lower weight, so I'm totally fine with the Mini as-is. Actually, my first choice would be to just keep the Mini as-is except swap the ultra wide for the telephoto, but oh well.

At a likely price of $899, no. Plus it would have been much heavier than the 12 Mini, and I like the aluminum sides vs stainless steel when it comes to grip.

If released this week, most likely yes.
I just can't resist and wait that long....

All I’d really want is the frosted matte glass back that the Pro line has. And the Pacific Blue color.

Im so confused on why apple does a frosted matte back on the pros but doesn’t have the sides matte. I just think the look of the non pro looks better on the sides, I know the pros are stainless steel but the iphone 4 had stainless steel and it was a lot better looking.

Yes but include the touch ID power button. Now that's what you call Pro to me. Not keen on 120hz because 120hz+5G= dead mini.
