Realistically, I don't want it to be thinner/lighter at the expense of performance. The only Physical change i would like would be slightly rounded edges- that's it. I don't know how to make it pretty - but that's Apple's job.

With the Hardware- Don't care about Optical Drive, should just be a USB one offered during the online Config. Naturally Apple will either utilize the left over space with an extra HDD/SSD, spread internals out to allow better heat dissipation or make the batteries and fans larger (which is Stupid given Ivy Bridge, but I don't think they will). Apple will not leave that space empty for a BTO option, nor should they your laptop will be uneven in weight.

Why in God's name would you want another Thunderbolt port - thats ridiculous, they are daisy chained for a reason.

1 TB
3 USB3 for 13/15
4 USB3 for 17
1 FW (who really uses/will use Firewire over USB3)
Express Card Slot - Memory Card slot is useless you can by a memory card reader at the SuperMarket for 10 bucks.

Overall Whack in Ivy, improve speed, don't equal it to improve battery life and cooling- FIX those issues. Offer 8GB as Standard or at a Sensible BTO price *haha sensible BTO, Apple? you've got to be kidding*.

Give all models HD/Glossy and HD/Anit-Glare BTO options. Or at Least just HD/Glossy, and offer Standard Def/Glossy 17.

Keep 16:10

Now just a wish...

Maybe instead of using the crappy 1st Gen Toshiba SSDs Apple could do a deal to offer OCZ Vertex 3 / Corsair GT / Samsung 830.

SSD's that people would buy from Apple.

Anyway that's my ideal Macbook Pro, if half of this happens I will be running down to the nearest Apple Store to pick one up.

I am not a fan of the unibody. I like the macbook air look, and would like to see them move in that direction.
