Would you rather have Sony-Lcd or Amoled on a cell phone and why?

Sony LCD simply because LCD's are mature technology. OLED is the future, but it is just too new to buy a product using such a wet behind the ear technology.

I would prefer the Amoled display because it has the best colors in my opinion. 🙂

Amoled may be the future, but right now I would rather have an LCD screen. There have been such delays producing amoled screens that HTC recently switched the Incredible over to a SLCD screen in order to be able to actually make and sell phones.

SLCD because Amoled's have a rougher time viewing in sunlight.

Samsung's super amoled takes care of that.

That being said, the colors are oversatured on an AMOLED for me. I have an iphone 4 and it has the best mobile display I've ever seen, by far.

I haven't seen any of them, so I can't tell.

AMOLED is better on paper, but I don't know how it looks in practice.
