I actually get pretty good results with my 15” but may have a chance to bump up to the 16”
Will pops and ghosting be resolved through software?
Keyboard is better huh?

It might cost me a couple hundred in changeover to bump up to the i9 16”

Apart from anything, its a newer, faster machine.

Keyboard is much, much better IMO.

The little refinements are also nice - escape key, improved thermals etc.

I don't know about you, but micro center at my location is having a sale for the 16". I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't tempted.

If you can sell/trade in your current model to mostly pay for a new machine, why not. My experience in selling has not been that good (insofar getting the price I paid for it).

Of course, reading through this forum, the 16" machine isn't problem free, you'll be trading in what I presume is a fully functioning machine, for one that has a potential to have ghosting, sound issues, etc.

I did it, there was a tiny handover of $ so worth it. Have the 8core 2.3, will probably end up swapping it for 32gb ram but will test 16 and check my usage.

The keyboard is excellent, worth it just for that.

if the keyboard is a huge issue for you and you're experiencing throttling i would do it. life is too short to settle for inferior experiences
