Wouldn't it make more economical sense to just buy a Macbook Pro 13" and use that for portability and then buy a Pc desktop maybe hackintosh it and upgrade that over the years if you need true power?

If you have a desktop comp, then get an macbook air or an 11inch C2D notebook.
