Wouldn't it make more sense to brush your teeth before using Crest White Strips?

I would think they would be more effective if you had clean teeth.

Crest tells you not to brush your teeth before using their strips so you don't get gum irritation.

I'd just follow the box mate. That way if it all goes tits up you're not the one to blame. (probably).

Let us know how they work out though. I've been considering using these.

It's not a good idea to brush your teeth before using the crest white strips because oddly enough the film left on your teeth and gums protects the gum line from getting irritated by the chemicals used to whiten your teeth.

Crest is not some fly by night company. I'd venture to guess doing what is advised on the box is a good idea.

And I don't use crest toothpaste but I've used their white strips before. :D
