Would've you preferred a space gray touchID on the space gray iPhones?

The silver and gold contrast in the touchID looks awesome on the white face. Would've you preferred the same treatment in the black face and get a contrasting ring or the all black look works for you?
 
Personally I like it the way it is.

I get the black iPhone so that I don't have any distractions around the screen and that it all just blends together.
 
I like the monolith look personally.

No, it would look out of place. Solid black is good. It works with the white face because the lighter colours blend better.
 
Gray always looks good in black. It's on the same neutral palette
 
well to be consistent it should have had a ring that matches the back but the seamless approach works on the black face. Wonder if Apple did any consumer research on that or if it was strictly a design team decision?

Design team? More like Ive's decision haha
 
I guess I'm just OCD on certain things. I picked up right away that they didn't follow the format of having matching back color in the space gray touchID.

Yep, and if they did go with space grey the other half OCD forum members would be saying "WTF why didn't they simply go with a black touch ID ring like before?!" ;)

I like the all black, honestly.

The ear speaker & the home button are very discreet.. Sometimes you can't even see them. I like that :)
 
Wonder if someone can photoshop how it would've looked with a space gray ring.
 
I thought at first the shiny ring might be the perfect idea and figured Apple missed the boat on this one with the space gray iPhone 6 but after looking at mine I like the all black look. When watching movies a shiny ring around the home button could be distracting on a black face.

I would've preferred if they used the same color ring on the camera to the touchID. That would've been sexy. But I'm not complaining. I like the current color scheme all black.
