Everyone going from the plus size phone to the max s is going to love this phone, it’s basically the same dimensions as the plus phones maybe a tad smaller than plus. I had no problem reaching from the top of the phone with my otter box max s case. I originally bought the x phone at launch last year but returned it because the screen was so narrow, I got fooled by Apple thinking it was bigger than the plus sized phones, I couldn’t get used to it coming from the plus iPhones.

I got my leather Apple case, I went from a 7+ to an X (still have a 7+ as my work phone) and I didn’t really miss the + size since I felt the screen on the X was perfect. I am shocked at how big the case looks for my XS Max. Going to be quite the adjustment!
