Mine does this too sometimes except I live in California. It shows like 100 degree weather in Big Bear, CA which is up in the mountains. I don't think it's ever been that hot there. Strange.

Yes, there was a early morning frost in FL that day....it was in the 40s the night before and was about 50 or so when it was launched. The Oring frooze up which in turn created the seal to break and letting fuel spill out. Im not 100% on this but im pretty sure i remember it correctly.

I was in 5th grade, watching it on TV in class when it happened. My teacher quickly turned off the TV knowing what had happened cause she didnt want the class to worry.

It was actually in the high 50s last night where i am (20mins west of Fort Liquiordale).

At launch the temp was 36F. Launch time was 11:38am. Morton-Thikol tried to strongly advise against the launch. They made the O-rings and knew the tolerances. Still pisses me off to this day the way NASA wasted the 'nauts lives.

I live in Aventura and it was cold for about 12 hours. LOL...cold. 60F is cold to us here. I'll be in Vail in a few weeks snowboarding so I can't wait to actually feel some real cold again.
