WOW is iTunes 10.5 buggy!!

I have never seen a beta program this bad in a long time. This thing stalls, distorts images, resizes on its own. I know it's beta but come on.

This is something someone could expect from a beta. I am sure you have let Apple know about the issues you are facing.

I haven't been over working it but its been fine all morning for me. Dl'ed a podcast, some old music purchases and listened to music all morning. Hasn't struggled yet. I'm glad they fixed the traffic lights finally. It's about time.

Mines fine! 🙂 Pleased that the red,green,yellow buttons are back to horizontal 😀

Same here, I have Snow Leopard 10.6.7 and I'm not seeing any issues with with iTunes 10.5,

I'm running it on Windows 7 Ultimate, and all Windows users know Apple cant code worth a ***** for Windows when it comes to iTunes.

They do a nice job for Safari though.

That probably explains it then - iTunes on Windows really is a big steaming pile of crap whether it's a beta version or a released one

chill out man. you installed a beta of an application on a less native operating system and expected perfect results. you should have expected it to suck on windows.

10.5 must be really buggy considering 10.3 beta is what was released yesterday. 😕

Mine works fine on both Snow Leopard 10.6.5, and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

Not really man! I have found its very problematic freezing and not allowing you to drag and drop mp3s into play lists that you create. It took me a total of 35 minutes trying to get this thing to cooperate and I still have no idea what I actually did to make it work finally😕


My Server/Workstation is Windows 7 Professional 64bit also

Bugs

If you are not a dev is there a place to view all of the known bugs for itunes 10.5? I have been noticing that there are a few bugs on my system. No itunes artwork displaying on itunes screensaver, window does not remember its position when closed and re-opened, and the most frustrating one is that the videos that I recorded on my iphone 4 do not transfer/sync to my ipad 2 via iphoto/itunes. Kind of weird just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these issues?? and I know enough to know its not user error 🙂

Wow. IT'S A DEVELOPER BETA ONLY TO BE USED TO INSTALL DEVELOPER BETA OF IOS 5 ON IDEVICES!

Ok, uninstall 10.5 and put on whatever the current released version is. Better yet buy a Mac.

I had a few problems with 10.5 crashing, but it was because of my iPhone crashing. I reported both to Apple.

I'm on Snow Leopard though.
