Wow just got a Macbook for 1199 with 18 months no interest from bestbuy

Goood deal OP! I got in on this deal myself as soon as I saw the sale ad this morning so luckily no standing in line for me this Friday! :)

Picked up the new macbook @ $1199 - $20 in rewards certificates i'll get back from best buy - 2% I'll get back from using my Discover card. Then I also got either 15 or 20% off a mighty mouse and because I'm such a good best buy customer, this order took me over the $2500 a year in purhases so now I am a premier silver rewards member so I'll be able to earn points faster with more rewards! :)
Totally worth it for me....now just gave to have the patience to wait for Christmas to open it. LOL

bestbuy has $150 off and $100 the mbp HAHAHAHA!
for poeple that got a new macbook/pro from bestbuy before the new deal you can still get your money back up to 1 month from your date of purchase, go back to the store if you got it from the store and ask for the price match, if you got it online then call and get your price match.

Now about the 10% off coupon I had one that expired oct 31st, did you get another coupon code or was this your first one? Also what seller did you get it from?

Yeah my code was for November until the 29th, CHOLIDAYNOV2008. The seller was kamfeili212.

So you bought a macbook for cheap. Just remember it pay it off before that interest hits you ;).
 
This seems like a great deal. If you get a lemon, is the exchange process similar to Apple's (you can go in and just get a new one)?
 
Meh, you could have just skipped the credit card and saved up the cash. Or if you have the cash, get the card hen may it off immediately to build some credit.

I don't get you.. you post a question and then be an ass to people who try to answer you?? :rolleyes: Was the whole point of you posting just to brag or did you genuinely wanted some opinions/answers? If you're just bragging, then good for you and your $100 off. I got my new 2.4 Macbook for $1350 (thanks to Apple's QC, 3 trips back, and customer service at the Fifth Ave, NY store).

now what? ..that's what I thought

Wrong. If you are a responsible person financially, just pay it off and you get a discount upfront and time to pay the full amount without interest.

If someone was responsible financially and doing math they would pay for it up front and not fall for these tactics these stores put out. Responsible people financially don't buy things when they don't have the money. Those "discounts" are only there to merely lure you in. If this offer didn't make them money they wouldn't be doing it. These companies don't make multimillion dollar marketing mistakes.

A deal is when you get this same macbook for like $899. Now that would be considered a good deal.

Just ask yourself how many times could you fit your house in the best buy headquarters?
