Shooting parameters: all on their defaults (HDR on, Enhanced stabilization ON), 4k24 on both cameras.

As you can see, the iP14P(M) footage is WAY less noisy than that of the iPhone 11. The ultrawide lens (which was pretty slow in the 11), in addition, produces a LOT brighter footage.

All in all, in video, the iPhone 14 PM is tons better than the 11. (Too bad the HEIC photos and the panoramas are equally bad at least in good light.)

Note: in the meantime, YouTube has finished processing the HDR metadata in the 14PM video; now it's also available as HDR on YouTube, not only in SDR.

Some iPhone 14/13/11 Pro [Max]-stuff: Here's an absolutely GREAT iPhone 14/13/11 Pro [Max] noise-specific video quality comparison in both good (with non-properly-lit areas - this is VERY important!) and low light:

I wouldn't have expected so large a difference in noise between the 13P and the 14P with the UWA cameras. And the iPhone 11 (Pro (Max)) is just baaaaad - all the three cameras (and, of course, particularly the UWA one) are significantly more noisy than that of the 14PM.
