i have an ipad mini ios 7 old none use put it away-

last week i brought out start use it and watching youtube - play with it

finally i get big suprise that usage last long than my ipad air 2,

used 8 hr
stand by 2 day
28% percentage left

Yes. It is about right. Despite the smaller size, iPad mini still have a pretty good battery endurance.
 
That what I get -
New feature is good but battery drain as we'll too

When there is a large discrepancy between usage and standby it makes it virtually impossible to determine how good the battery is based off actual usage times.

For every 6 hours of standby I have about 30 minutes of usage due to background usage (email, messages, notifications, iCloud stuff, etc etc). So if I just left it sit for 3 days without touching it I would have 6 hours of usage with minimal battery consumption.

You do not need to keep reporting back with how much you've gotten out of a charge unless your iPad's battery is draining very quickly. Then the forums may be of actual use to you to determine why the device is behaving in such a way.
