Wow - my iPad Mini battery so good

    i have an ipad mini ios 7 old none use put it away-

    last week i brought out start use it and watching youtube - play with it

    finally i get big suprise that usage last long than my ipad air 2,

    used 8 hr
    stand by 2 day
    28% percentage left

    Yes. It is about right. Despite the smaller size, iPad mini still have a pretty good battery endurance.

    New feature is good but battery drain as we'll too

    When there is a large discrepancy between usage and standby it makes it virtually impossible to determine how good the battery is based off actual usage times.

    For every 6 hours of standby I have about 30 minutes of usage due to background usage (email, messages, notifications, iCloud stuff, etc etc). So if I just left it sit for 3 days without touching it I would have 6 hours of usage with minimal battery consumption.

    dam - i get 19 hr usage still 13%

    that incredible on my ipad mini 1st

    Of course it's lasting a long time, you've plugged it in (it says so right under the usage). It will last indefinitely (or until you stop paying the electric bill) if you keep doing that.

    You do not need to keep reporting back with how much you've gotten out of a charge unless your iPad's battery is draining very quickly. Then the forums may be of actual use to you to determine why the device is behaving in such a way.
