Wow my wife's 4 feels like a brick

I was given a new 4s and the weight sucks compared to my Android.
I still haven't taken it out.

You think the iPhone 5 back (that's integral to the phone's construction) will be cheap to replace? :rolleyes: You're looking at a complete disassemble and reassemble. It will be cheaper to just trade it in for a used model.

I felt the same when I held my sisters hah man the iPhone 5 feels sooo much better cause its light #
 
I had an iphone 4 for 5 months. Then I sold it, and got samsung galaxy S2. I used it for 6 months. Finally I decided to sell it, and went to Apple Store, tried out Iphone 5. It was a big disappointment. It is too light. It's still heavier than my samsung galaxy s2 though. The reason why I went back to Iphone was I love how heavy Iphone is. I love the 4.3 inch screen on my S2, but it's not as sharp as Iphone's retina, and it's not true white. The iphone 5 looks ridiculously long for 4.0 inch (no more black border for video?), too light for my taste. It's faster but not much from 4s (why no quad cores apple?). Finally, I decided to get the 4s and I really love it!:rolleyes:

It is just me but my ideal size is 4.3 (after I went through with s2). Until then, no iphone upgrade for me:D

This!

I do think that Apple has sacrificed some structural integrity by making the phone longer AND thinner. We will see more bent phones right at the volume buttons.

I picked up my "old" 4S and it felt rather nice:eek:
 
Yup my wife has my 4S it feels like a stubby heavy brick. Quite amazing really because Pre iPhone 5 I thought the 4S was perfect.

Then when the iPhone 6 gets released, you will think damn i thought the iPhone 5 was perfect, then same when the 7 gets released and so on.

So no iPhone will EVER be perfect.

More than the weight what amazes me is the screen size when I pick my girl's 4. It's like "how the f-ck was I able to live with this tiny screen", lol

But were did all the people go that were saying the iPhone 4/S screen was perfect and didn't want it any bigger? You always have to be open to new ideas. Apple nailed it with the iPhone fan(atics) by just going tall enough for another row of icons. Still small by today's standards, but also bigger than it used to be. Why, it's the perfect size!
 
How to fix it , "No service" after deleting apps in cydia?

my iphone 3gs 16gb was slow so i decided to delete all of the apps from cydia , so i go for Mobile substrate and just delete it after it iphone goes to Restart and after this it has come with a problem of NO service , now i have my fast iphone back but with no service issue it does not connet to my sim .... please tel which files i should install in cydia so that it comes back with my sim service Mobilink ... i have baseband 6.15
 
Yeah after using this for a week the 4 felt super heavy and square. It was MISERABLE...THE HORROR.

the price of the parts will go down significantly in two years. No one said anything about ease of install. Maybe it wont be $29.99. but its not going to cost the same as a new phone.. :rolleyes:

I mean seriously, there have been so many "OMG THE 4/4S IS SO HEAVY!" topics.

First of all, completely exaggerated. The 4S is approx 28 paperclips heavier than the 5.

Now, I will agree and say that if you have the 5 now, that the 4/S will feel heavier. BUT, the 4S is not HEAVY by any means. If it's heavy, you might want to pick up some weights.

And to be honest, with all the stories I've been reading about bending/denting/warping iPhone 5s, I'm actually quite glad that my 4S is a "heavy, chunky, short" glass slab with stainless steel sides and that if the back ever shatters I can replace it with a 10$ part from eBay.

I'm really not trying to diss on the 5, I really just think 5 owners are trying to make the previous iPhones sound crummy so they feel good about their most recent purchase.

The 4S is ugly? Wow well your 5 is a 4S with an aluminum back. :confused::confused:
I mean seriously if you put a case on a 5, you can barely tell the difference. Calling the 4/4S ugly is like calling the 5 ugly.

Let me open it up and put some extra weights inside to make you happy:)
