WOW (Patch and Downloaders)

In my WOW Directory I have quite a few files with different versions of the patches and the downloaders. Can these be safely removed or do they need to remain? Thanks!

They can be safely deleted. The only thing they are good for is if you do a reinstall you wouldn't have to download them again.
