My first post on MacRumors. (Hi Folks) I just got my MBPR and I am now looking to get back into WOW. I have pre-ordered Mists of Pandaria. If you could send me a scroll to help me get started again it would be much appreciated. I don't appear to be able to PM you but I guess this is because I am a new member.

When they re-adjust the level balance so it takes a year to level 1-60 instead of 8hrs, and they take away the dungeon finder tool, so you have to actually make a Scarlet monastery run from South Shore (as alliance) ill "think" about coming back. And get rid of gear score, hide the stats from the players, stop third party plugins and make Molten Core a challenge again !!! (heck i remember grinding black rock depths for three months before we cleared it) Outlands is a empty wasteland because people spend as little time there as they can as they pass through on the dungeon queue fueled grind to the level cap.

Wow, getting less and less enjoyable with each expansion, i don't know why they don't just get rid of the content except for the major cities, pvp zones and raids, no one bothers with the rest of the content except on the race to level cap.

I used to be hardcore in to WoW, but nowadays I am pretty relaxed about it, I only play very casually and actually enjoy all of the game world. So there are people out there that still use it all but I agree most people just use the big hubs and ignore everything else.

With more and more MMO's coming out with loading screens between zones I find WoW's large continents more and more enjoyable these days.

I don't think they should slow down the levelling though, like you said the world at large is pretty empty so to bog down new players in that for even longer just sucks, the levelling for me is fine, if you want to take it slow you can and if you want to power your way to the top doing the bare minimum you can also do that.

I haven't ordered the new expansion, I have no idea what features it brings at all and think I am too out of touch with it all to even bother upgrading anyway.
