Maybe have a poll for content blockers? I'd say purify is better than peace.... And crystal is the worst.

Wish they could import user defined rules later, or maybe have an Adblock official one

And why do you think Crystal is the worst? Strange how people will defend something they have no matter what!

This place is entertaining for sure!

Have just installed AdMop, and it works very well! Do you guys think there is a difference in the loadtime of websites between the different adblockers? The ones that block the most ads out will be where safari will be fastest, right?

Which ad blocker is best if you just want to block the most intrusive ads (pops ups, ads that auto play audio, etc) and leave alone the ones that are relatively unobtrusive? I don't want to take away the revenue of sites who incorporate ads respectfully.

like I care about any publishers losing ad revenue

Do you want sites to end up behind pay walls?
That's what will happen if they can't earn money from ads.

Slightly off topic, but is there a place I can go to see which iOS 9 features are unsupported on a device-by-device basis?

Would've greatly benefited older devices but too bad Apple gimped iOS 9 on older devices as there's no technical reason it couldn't run.

I just installed this yesterday and theres a few sites that have to be refreshed to work. Twitch.tv no longer works (have to use safari for pip mode). Slickdeals pictures no longer load. I suppose it will be fixed eventually.

You can report broken sites to the developer in the app. Stop whining here.

I would not mind a stationary ad on my page but when they come alive and start crawling across the screen I have no pity. I am sure the ad people will fight back and find a way to stay ahead of the ad blockers but right now it really makes a big difference.

I've been using adblockers for years. The ad people never find a way to stay even let alone get ahead of the ad blockers.

But it is startling just how much of a (negative) impact ads have had on iOS browsing experience.

"Win a free iPad_Air_Pro.exe". Lets do it, this looks legit.

I am running Purify on my Mini 4. Crystal loaded pages too slow. At his point, Purify is the way to go for me.

Like I said I do not mind an unobtrusive stationary ad but the one that activate or move or flash, well the advertisers earned this on themselves.

I've downloaded all three on Thursday. And crystal blocked the least amount of ads....

But it's definitely improving. So I can't say which one will be better in the future

Haven't seen any ads on any of the sites I visit since I installed Crystal. Do make sure it has the newest block list loaded (by running the app itself and checking at the bottom -- when I checked earlier, #6 was current).
