Take a look at woz.org
You can see he is on a 17" Unibody MBP with the matte display (no black bezel).
Just thought I would post..lol

This post is no different than the Lance Armstrong uses a macbook pro post. It means nothing, except apple geeks love to hear that famous people use the same laptop as they do...if that gets you off good for you, if not...hope he likes his mac.

This is the same Woz who hacks his iPhone because he disagrees with it being locked, and who encourages people in interviews to do the same.

I still don't get how people lug around a 17" notebook. The 17" UMBP is the lightest and thinnest around but it still seems HUGE

Maybe when I get older and my eyesight gets bad I will want one.

Whoa! One of the co-founders of Apple, and current honorary employee uses the latest MBP! No Way!!!!!!!!!!

Let us know when you see Melinda Gates or Steve Ballmer using an iPhone. Now that would be post-worthy.

All this proves is that a billionaire genius prefers a matte display, that's all. :)
That much is certain. :)

Uh, I find it interesting and yet I don't have a MBP17. Go figure. :)

For some reason I thought it was hilarious that his EE number was just 1.
That would make is super easy when filling out paperwork for HR.
When Apple was founded, SJ was employee 0 and the Woz employee 1.

Still true I believe even though SJ left Apple and then returned.

Hey, the man likes quality. I've just become a proud owner of a 17" Matte and love it. Whenever I walk into a Apple store and see the tacky glossy version I can't believe that I even thought twice about whether to go glossy/matte (but to each their own).

I think Phil and others still at Apple have to push the glossy cause it's their consumer targeted model, while the matte gets hidden like a red headed stepchild. Fortunately Woz doesn't have to follow such lockstep protocol. Something tells me that Jon Ive probably has a well used Matte in his place as well.
