I am sure that this must have been discussed before but I ran a search and couldn't find an answer:

Is it possible to use an iPhone on a a network with WPA or WPA2 encryption.

The iPhone will be released in the U.K. on the 9th of November and I am planning to get one. My home network is WPA2. Will it work?

Yes, my Linksys WRT54GS with DD-WRT firmware has WPA2 Personal password. I easily logged into the router (after entering the 64 hex key which took forever )

Thanks for putting my mind at rest. I have the Airport Extreme Base Station as well, and had visions of having to change the set up to go back to WEP.

So, is it as simple as just entering the WPA2 password into the iPhone as I did on my MBP?
