Just got a new MacBook, when I try to join my home network, it won't let me type letters (the keyboard stops working) after the first letter of my password. The first letter of my password is $, then it won't let me type most letters after that. For example, I can type $c or $s, but if I try to type $u the 'u' won't show up.

I've read a lot of threads about putting a $ before your password, but this is a little different for me. We're using the Verizon FIOS router that comes with the modem (I think it's a D-Link built in).

Any suggestions?

This is wierd because both my old MacBook and the other MacBook in my house haven't had any problems with this...
